The Purifier follows the story that unfolded on the plane of Innistrad, and the dramatic fight against the extraplanar threat of Emrakul, the Promised End and her brood of eldritch monsters. As the guardian angels of the plane such as Gisela, the Broken Blade and Bruna, the Fading Light are being swayed by the presence of the ever-elusive Eldrazi, Nahiri, the Harbinger is planning her next step; The irreversible corruption of Avacyn, Angel of Hope.

The Purifier is an Eldrazi battlecruiser deck, disguised as an angel tribal. Besides Emrakul, the big hitters come in the form of Brisela, Voice of Nightmares and Hanweir, the Writhing Township, though the deck also fights through its Angel tribal tactics. The Purifier is a deck focused around flavour and fun. It's missing many of the Boros staples only because they didn't fit the flavour of the deck. However, tuning the towards a more focused play is fairly straightforward. For that, consider adding the likes of Boros Charm, Sunforger and Smothering Tithe.

Note: In our local play group we have banned Sol Ring, so if you want to copy this deck, you might want to include it.
