Calamity approaches the Tolarian Community College —Sept. 15, 2018
Many thanks to TolarianCommunityCollege's video on Zacama (posted above). I took some card suggestions from the professor's list, specifically Soul's Majesty, Pir's Whim, Comet Storm, and Abundance. The deck was definitely suffering from not having enough draw options, slowing down far sooner than i'd have liked it to. Additionally, once everyone in my playgroup figured out it's a bad idea to give in to Tempt with Discovery, the card became a total dud whenever played. I must admit, I was salty. Therefore, the Professor's suggestion of Pir's Whim is perfect, because most of my playgroup tend to gang up on me early game. (Side Ramble: "Don't let him cast Zacama" is said at least once whenever I play this deck. Basically, as with all my other decks this deck is Politically weak.) So at the very least I can get those players back who decided to target me so early in the game.
