Welcome to The power Three.
Please reference Dues of the Plainswalkers 2015 on XBL, IOS & Steam.

Duels 2015 is the first time a Dotp game has offered full deck construction. We are provided a 330 card pool and standard deck editing rules/tools. One small change is that Dotp2015 only allows x2 copies of any rare. Why is this; I have no Idea. The Dotp2015 card pool can be found here Duels 2015 card set.

Below is my first attempt at a competitive (non-agro) deck.

This deck focuses heavly on the Cloudshift & Rescue from the Underworld blink mechanics to trigger ETB effects. In a pinch Gravedigger can recur creatures for blink type effects also.

Knowing what to blink and when changes this deck from a clunky long range deck into a formidable control deck. Balancing your life gain, card draw and damage prevention is key.
I recommend saving your Cloudshifts to prevent removal or to save a creature from dying during combat. Interesting enough if a creature is blocked and then the blocking creature is removed from combat the attacking creature does not deal damage to the player unless it has a trample effect.
Example: Opponent is attacking with a big a$$ Arbor Colossus , Depending on your current situation Id recommend chump blocking with a Wall of Omens or Lone Missionary. In response to the block use Cloudshift or Rescue from the Underworld to remove your blocker from combat, gain life or draw a card (replacing Cloudshift). With a Mentor of the Meek or two in play this can result in drawing additional cards as well.

Generally you do NOT want to miss a turn of playing land most of the power of the deck doesnt come into play until you have 5-7 mana on the board. For this reason Im running 25 lands, this plus all the draw effects I find to be plenty to regularly hit your land drop every turn.

Removal targets: FLYERS, these things are annoying as hell. Most flyers in the format die to Shock, Ulcerate or Anger of the Gods of which you have access to 6 copies, so keep an eye on the sky. Squadron Hawks are a problem. Im considering another copy of Anger of the Gods in place of the 2nd copy of Ulcerate that Im currently running.

The mana base is solid but slow, Im running 12 lands that enter tapped and 13 that dont so you are generally a turn behind on land. This deck defiantly benefits from going first.

Playing the deck:
Step 1: Stack draw effects via Wall of Omens, Mentor of the Meek, Phyrexian Rager and Graveborn Muse. This keeps you had full of control a.k.a. removal.
Step 2: Control the board with removal via Reprisal , Shock. Ulcerate and Anger of the Gods
Step 3: Drop phat creatures like Rune-Scarred Demon, Inferno Titan and Baneslayer Angel
