This is a UB control/tempo deck that looks to win the game by sticking an early threat like Gurmag Angler or Tasigur, the Golden Fang , protecting it with countermagic such as Remand and Stubborn Denial , and removing the opponent's creatures with one of many removal spells. I played several versions of Death's Shadow decks for about a month, but I found that they were very frustrating to play and I wasn't getting the results I was hoping for in my local meta, so I built this. I have only tested it against Izzet Pheonix (3-0) and 8-Whack (3-2) so far, but it seems absurdly good against aggro strategies.
