Ah, Anje. You did well, but, unfortunately, you failed at having enough madness cards in your precon.

So I amped the precon, by adding blue.

Now, the main strategy is still to get Anje Falkenrath out, and then cycle through your deck, killing people with a multitude of payoffs. Fun, right?

These are cards that destroy your opponents while you are cycling through your deck, from pingers, to Laboratory Maniac.

Bone Miser: This card is INCREDIBLE. It either gives us another card, a zombie, or ramp every time you discard anything.

Laboratory Maniac: I know, at this point you're thinking 'I don't want to play another deck with Lab Man, but if you want to take these two incredible wincons out in exchange for more madness cards, be my guest.

Glint-Horn Buccaneer/Psychosis Crawler: Generic life drain.

Archfiend of Ifnir: Just WOW. I've never had this card survive for more than 2 turns, as it does what Archfiends do best: draw fire. Oh and it kills your opponents' creatures.

Surly Badgersaur: Turns your lands into treasure, your creatures into +1/+1 counters, and your noncreature spells into removal.

Brallin, Skyshark Rider  : Heck yeah! +1/+1 counters and damage! This is what I live for.

Psychic Corrosion: Let me point out the power of mill; it mills. Not even kidding, this card is bonkers.

The Locust God: If I need to explain why I have him, you clearly don't understand that he is a GOD.

Curator of Mysteries: With Anje, I can Scry before I draw. This card is epic.

That's all the direct payoffs, but there are a few more cards that support the madness theme.

Niv-Mizzet, Parun: Card advantage + a big body + a Wincon = WOW.

Bag of Holding: Let me just say, this card is amazing. Not only does it save you from graveyard hate, but it also loots, and is a Shadow of the Grave.

Speak of the devil, Shadow of the Grave: Grab you back all the cards you discarded.

Tectonic Reformation is a must, as it lets you cycle through any unnecessary lands.

If you have a Madness deck, you need ways to refill your hand. Repeatable card draw is the best, and adding blue gave us the draw spells we need.

Repeatable card draw: Rhystic Study, Fevered Visions, our commander: Nekusar, the Mindrazer, and one of the best cards released in M21, Teferi's Ageless Insight.

Once-In-a-Lifetime Card Draw: Gravepurge (Okay, I get that this isn't actually card draw, but it's basically another Shadow of the Grave), Restless Dreams, Peer into the Abyss, Ox of Agonas etc.

Neheb, Dreadhorde Champion is pretty much the only non-land, non-artifact ramp card (other than Songs of the Damned, he's it). I recently acquired two copies of this bad boy, and let me just say, with Neheb on the 'field, card selection and ramp is just one combat step away.

Tutors With the Tutors it gets more interesting. In addition to traditional tutors like Diabolic Tutor, we have Transmute cards (Dimir Machinations and Perplex), and a few less traditional tutors (like Razaketh's Rite).

All in all, I hope you enjoy the deck, and I would love some feedback. In other words, Welcome to the Fold
