How competitive do you want this to be? What is your local meta? What is your budget for improving this?

I am not really that competitive with this deck, I mainly play just casual, and I am saving for thoughtseize and more godless shrine etc.

Ahh, ok. Let me know if you ever want to get this to be more competitive!

Hmm. Well for starters, read this. You'll want to improve your lands and swap some removal spells around. With your current setup you take way too much damage from your own spells.

Bitterblossom builds are usually better. It can depend on the meta though. What is your meta?

Don't know, and if it's Bitterblossom or Raise the Alarm, I'll take Bitterblossom

Oh it's just b/w tokens, WAIT! THAT'S AN EMRAKUL!! is worth a look- there are other oplymorph targets than Emrakul, some are likely to be in your price range.

Polymorph token decks are fun, but they aren't as competitive as regular b/w token decks.

But siding in a drowned catacomb four polymorph and an emrakul only takes six slots...

6 slots is a lot, especially the more competitive you get. Polymorph decks are too easily disrupted.

Yeah, but they're unexpeceted, which can count for a lot and remove the issues with them being disrupted, if you know the metagame and the standard plays so that it sneaks through. Winning 1/6 games unexpectedly is probably worth the hit to my mind, especially when the rest of the deck requires your opponent to play with a completely different srtategy. Hand pruning makes it more reliable as well. If your tournament keeps decklists private until the end, it can really do some work. transformative sideboards on fringe strategies are a thing for a reason, especially against matchups which have great post SB against you- yknow, the ones that are likely to reduce their single target disruption? Weird strategies forever man.
July 1, 2016 1:12 p.m.
You can't rely on it being an uncommonly played deck so that it sneaks through. Transformation sideboards are rare for a reason; in highly competitive play, only a few decks can pull them off, and those decks are typically tier 2/2.5. Tokens isn't one of those decks. The polymorph strategy is simply too slow, and far too easily disrupted to work in higher levels of competitive play. Casual play? Go for it.

xzzane What do you think of this updated list? (Auriok Champion will eventually replace Soul's Attendant, but they are a bit expensive. Same deal with Marsh Flats.)

Caves of Koilos is strictly better than city of brass. Replace the 2 Temple of Silence with 2 more Isolated Chapels. Other than that, looks good for a budget list.
