"May you be left with nothing in this life, and the next"
Thought it'd be fun to work some control with the pending renewal of the Orzhov Guild. Sorin, Lord of Innistrad and Lingering Souls work very well together to stall, and with Vault of the Archangel I can keep the board fairly well locked up.
Bloodgift Demon provides fantastic card advantage, on a solid body and helps to dig for answers.
I'm still not sold on Mutilate and/or Terminus . I know they're powerful cards, but I almost feel like Divine Reckoning might have a home in here somewhere.
Thanks for the comments all, and please don't hesitate to mention anything you like or what else you think might fly!
2nd edit of today -
Finally pulled Bloodline Keeper Flip , he just wasn't pulling his weight anymore. Replaced him, and one of my new copies of Arrest with 3 copies of Lingering Souls against the early rush of aggro. Late game they'll still have some ability to stall the board with Vault of the Archangel I hope. Also tweaked the manabase slightly to compensate for the changes.
-2 Curse of Exhaustion , -2 Shimian Specter
Brought Soul Tithe (2) and Desecration Demon to the party, seeing better results now. Probably going to bring in something like Cower in Fear to the sideboard against aggro / tokens, as well as Sever the Bloodline .
Tragic Slip since you are playing counter removal. I like this idea, Mind if if I borrow your idea for Standard?
Unfortunately, I felt it slow and so did my colleagues, they helped me out a bit and made into this. Curse of Sorin
I love the idea, unfortunately Tap Out's shuffling algorithm is completely bogus. I tried 5 playtests and in the first 4 turns never drew another land. usually started with 3-4 in my opening hand.
Curse of Oblivion for sideboard. +1
