Anafenza, the Foremost
three mana 4/4. if it was only that we'd run her all damn day. Add in the facts she gives counters, and neutralizes whip strategies solidifies her spot on board.
Fleecemane Lion two mana 3/3. the curve is strong with this one. Gives us a nice body that has to be dealt with turn two clearing up a spot for anafenza to deal with, and if he stays with a 4/4 HEXPROOF INDESTRUCTIBLE. Needless to say it's a good thing to have.
Rakshasa Deathdealer
two mana 2/2 with a dark side. Rakshasie makes blocking political all of the sudden when we have mana open. Make people take hits just to block the rakshasa that we can then regenerate.
Siege Rhino Jesus christ tap dancing on the cross this is the answers to our prayers. four mana 4/5 trample. WITH A STAPLED ON LIGHTNING HELIX. we advance a turn in aggro, we scale back a turn fro them, then swing with that big ol' fatty. Siege survvies all kinds of burn. (unless they waste two, which is....okay) He wins the bread in this family.
Surrak, the Hunt Caller whistle This guy makes us aggro. four mana 5/4 that gives the rhino i play next turn haste. drops mike
Whisperwood Elemental basically this card just helps us grind out games when we can't finish them out early. 4/4 that gives us bears all day, while giving us an option against boardwipes is excellent.
Heir of the Wilds
probably the least critical creature in the deck but two drop 2/2 deathtouches has their uses. UPDATE: Den Protector is currently being tested as a replacement.
OTHER SPELLS
Abzan Charm Utility incarnate. Holy trinity of what we want. Card draw, removal, and counters.
Dromoka's Command More utility. helps us against burn, and R/G aggro.
Hero's Downfall arguably the best black removal spell in standard. hits all dragons, hits all planeswalkers.
Ultimate Price hits most big creatures, hits some major dragons
Sorin, Solemn Visitor Turns the aggro into a tide of life. Wins games against burn. Turns the tide against everyone else.
