Flavor question, RE: Godsend —April 21, 2014

I'm thinking about adding Godsend to this deck as both an extension of Gwafa's bribing ability and possibly the closest thing to the Million Dollar Championship belt around, at least until WotC makes some kind of belt equipment. Not going to be a flavor foul, is it?

Digging the theme. Wish I could +1 you twice, both for the deck and for incorporating pro-wrestling into it (I'm also a fan). I'm going to suggest both Illusionist's Bracers and Rings of Brighthearth just because I feel being able to do Gwafa's ability twice per turn is awesome.

Pretend that the rings are WWE Champion rings.

Looking over the cards I have, I don't have a whole lot of creatures with activated abilities, so i don't think Illusionist's Bracers will be that useful. Rings of Brighthearth have a few more uses, mainly on the artifacts, but I actually have one in another EDH deck for Mayael the Anima I do like the flavor of something with a ring like that though. I really wish they made some kind of equipment that was a belt, it would easily be in here as the Million Dollar Championship.

I've noticed a lack of Consecrated Sphinx in this deck. It seems like it would be great allowing you to wipe out the drawback of pacifying their creatures. Some playgroups frown on it though.

Hmm, that is an interesting idea, but a card like that does paint a pretty big target on you as soon as it hits the battlefield. The synergy with Gwafa can't be ignored though and it even makes a card like Oblation ridiculous by tacking on an Opportunity to it. The card itself is also a little pricey at the moment but If i can get ahold of one I'll definitely consider using it.
