Went 2-2 but ARRRRGH. Round three loss was my fault. I made 3 bad mistakes in game 2 and would have won otherwise. Round 4 - a total of 4 mana in two games = losing badly. What are you gonna do?
The land is inconsistent. That's the only thing that bothered the deck consistently. And Herald of Torment. That life loss was a killer. I'm going to try Read the Bones or Boros Reckoner in that slot.
Not really sure if Anger of the Gods fits in here very well. It kills most of your creatures. I'd recommend more Mizzium Mortars and I'd try fitting in Blood Baron of Vizkopa , Stormbreath Dragon , and Boros Reckoner .
I thought so too with Anger, but it's actually been awesome. I don't care about Sin Collector dying honestly - once I've cast him. The only reason I don't run Baron is the meta at my shop. EVERYONE is planning for him and he just doesn't work there. Similarly, there's a ton of mono-red and RG monsters there so Anger does a lot of work against little red guys and RG Monster's mana dorks. Boros Reckoner is a good call though.
22 land is going to be an issue for you. to effectively play the spells you want like stormbreath, 23 or 24 is a better option. I know it might seem minor, but it changes the odds of drawing lands enough to make a noticeable difference.
You need to be running at least 25 lands for this to be consistent. I have a similar deck that is white-black, and 24 screwed me, 25 was better, 26 is perfect and I never get screwed. I would go 26 lands and 2 underworld connections even. Really helps when you can possibly get flooded, and just draw right through it. 25 you still can get screwed sometimes but at 26 I have yet to get screwed and only flooded once, but drew through it. Card advantage is huge and since you have 3 colors, you definitely need all the land you can get to be consistent. But yeah long story short, 26 might seem like to much but trust me, its perfect.
