I've always liked the Lord of Extinction and Blighted Agent combo with The Mimeoplasm . You could also use a Fauna Shaman to help fill your graveyard or maybe some looters.

I also love the addition of card:Breathstealer's Crypt. Great synergy.

Ooo, I like Blighted Agent . I don't have any of those other cards, but the Agent might make it in the next time I decide to make some tweaks.

This deck needs a Cabal Coffers and a Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth

Care to elaborate?

without a way to fish them out it isn't really worth the $16 to buy those 2 lands because the combo will almost never happen. although the Primeval Titan will help with this

Im sorry but even as stand alone cards, they are quite good. Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth helps elaborate your mana so that ANY land in your deck can produce black. Also, the combo isnt all that hard with a tutor or two, which black is very good at. And Rhadamanthus, the Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth turns all your lands into swamps in addition and the Cabal Coffers produces black for each swamp. This will lead to an obtuse amount of mana that can be dropped into any x costing card such as a draw spell or Exsanguinate .

Yes, I can read the cards. =P I just wanted to know why you thought it would be a good addition. Considering I only have 3 X-spells and strong artifact mana, I don't think it's worth having to also add the support cards necessary to get the combo onto the table in the first place.

Greater Good would be pretty awesome in this deck, both filling your graveyard and allowing draw.

I notice that you chose the road of almost 0 counterspells, any particular reason?

@Kirtanian: Good idea, I think I might have one of those.

@KorApprentice: Playing the deck, I found myself tapping out a lot to do stuff, so holding up countermagic can get in the way of that, so I just have a couple cards in case of an emergency. However, it probably won't be as much of an issue in the late game to have mana up, so I might add a couple more. I would want them to be cards that continue to advance the theme of the deck, so maybe Soul Manipulation and Induce Paranoia would be worthwhile.

I definitely agree with Soul Manipulation . It might also be helpful to have Hinder as a second Spell Crumple .

Tunnel Vision yourself to your Living Death . Pure hilarity!

I don't have any spares right now, but yes, good suggestion. Thanks!

This combo usually gets a lot of hate but if youre feeling all evil like try adding in Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon or any other infect guy, like Blighted Agent . That way when you play the mimeoplasm you exile the infect creature for the effect text, and any other massive creature and then just swing with a flying haste regenerate infect creature and kill someone. Asi said before its a bit of a dick move in some cases but if someone is being really annoying in the match its usually worth putting them in their place. +1 from me.

Skithiryx used to be in the deck as a "panic button", but I just didn't like it. He might come back someday.

Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur is another powerful option as well as Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger , and both can really shut down the game. Though they do make you a bit of a target. Just more suggestions.

I really like this deck list for a number of reasons:
- It stays true to the theme of the 2011 deck list, reusing many of the same cards
- The mana curve isn't too high and is an actual left-skewed bell curve
- THE MIMEOPLASM!!

Great job :) I hope to build something similar soon

Mimeoplasm is my main EDH deck. I run a few $ cards that make all the difference. Survival of the Fittest is huge, as are Intuition and Birthing Pod. I run Skithiryx as well as Putrefax for fast kills with Pyhrexian Dreadnaught and Deaths Shadow. I just made this account and I'll post my deck soon :-D
