Milling as defined and explained by Maro in -THIS- article is the effect when cards are directly placed from the library to the graveyard by a spell or ability. It is not commonly seen as a competitive alternate winton, and is in some circles considered a causal strategy that beginners tend to like more than more competitive players.

I set out to build a semi-completive deck that focuses on Milling as a winton. It uses the opponents graveyard size as a source of power and it does it very well when played correctly. It is best played in multi player environments.
