This deck takes control of creatures, attacks with them, then sacrifices them. I could list all of the combos, but you get the gist. In general, if a creature is going to die or leave your control, you can sacrifice it for pretty decent benefit beforehand.
If anyone has any proposed changes to this deck that will keep it mean, make it more competitive and keep it under 30 bucks, please comment.
In particular I'm trying to build a sideboard in case I find myself against a deck that doesn't heavily rely on creatures. In an update I added a goblin spamming sideboard, but lets be real, it sucks. I could use a sideboard that at least has a shot if the opponent has an unlucky draw with their burn or control deck. I know the land base is weak, but good lands are what seem to really drive up the price of a deck. While slow lands are an option, I hate them. To many times i've needed 1 more colorless mana to pull off a combo, then I draw a land that comes into play tapped. Its stupid and annoying. Id almost rather throw an island into this deck than something that comes into play tapped. Id love some filter lands or fetch lands, but I'm trying to keep this under 30 bucks so me or anyone else can be mean to their friends on a budget.
I bought this deck for under 25 dollars and it is a kitchen table dream. I already have friends that will stop playing if they see that i'm using this deck against anything other than a control deck.
Thinking about planeswalkers, I really don't think I want any. Chandra, the Firebrand might be alright. I dont care about her ult, but the ability to copy spells is pretty awesome in this deck, but the same effect can be achieved along with donating an extra red mana from Pyromancer's Goggles. At instant speed, its a much better choice.
I considered Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded but I don't like the discard. I typically like every card I draw and don't wanna get rid of them. Plus there wont be many creatures on my opponents battlefield by the time he can do his ult.
Liliana Vess doesn't fit in with the budget nature of this deck, and while awesome, the ult is entirely unnecessary. This deck doesn't need any help if the opponent has a creature heavy aggro strategy, and the ult wouldn't be worth it if they don't.
