This Mardu ally deck uses a combo of life drain/gain, +1/+1 counters, and enter the battlefield ability boosts to quickly stack useful traits on creatures as they are cast each turn. Some aggro spells are included that do damage, force a sacrifice, exile, or otherwise harm opposing creatures/players while a balance of support spells bring my creatures back from the dead or spawn new ones. Nearly every creature is an ally so no matter what is played, there is pretty much a per turn guaranteed ability trigger, most of which apply to all on the battlefield. Life gain mechanics are easily attained and kick in nearly every game, buying plenty of time to get a good offense going or recover from a board wipe. And sometimes the perfect storm of life gain can boost so much per turn that even the heaviest hitting opponents can't keep up.
