Sideboard

Maybeboard

This deck is getting an upgrade with the new Niv-Mizzet. It's remaining mostly the same, but I'm making some changes to deal with the harder casting cost and because of the new way of drawing cards.

This is a mostly casual Niv-Mizzet deck. I'm not running the obvious infinite combos because my usual play group doesn't like infinite combos that much. Plus I've won with Curiosity before, and it's really only fun once.

Anyway, I decided to make this one a little more focused on control by adding equipment like Basilisk Collar to increase the creature removal. Niv-Mizzet can kill any non-indestructible creature with a simple draw of a card with deathtouch. Sword of Kaldra makes the removal even better, since it's only weakness is hexproof and shroud. To go along with the deathtouch equipment, I have Goblin Sharpshooter who turns into a machine gun.

The rest of the deck revolves around the basic wheel cards like Wheel of Fortune, and other card draw support. This deck can lock down the board if played correctly. Don't be afraid to discard a great card to wheel your entire hand. If you can get going, the deck almost plays itself.
