Death Is Not An Exit (AKA Biscuits and Grave-y)

Commander / EDH BUG (Sultai) Casual GWUB Ramp Theme/Gimmick

NihilisticFridge

One of my first five decks. I built it around recursion and value from cards in exile and the graveyard, so you'll see a lot of Annihilator triggers, sac-ing creatures, and eating up any and all cards available.

Holy moley, this deck has a lot of engines going off at the same time when it goes. Muldrotha, the Gravetide is such a versatile commander. Giving you access to any permanent type in the graveyard is fantastic, even if it occurs only at sorcery speed. So, how do we get things into the graveyard? Well, we've got quite a few options: Altar of Dementia is probably the most prolific one, as it can feed the graveyard like no other in this deck. Stitcher's Supplier is a cheaper option with a little more limited use... or it least its use would be limited if we couldn't bring it back from the graveyard! Eldrazi Monument is a great way to also buff creatures and feed the graveyard, and the added bonus of flying/the flaps is just lovely too. Birthing Pod and Prime Speaker Vannifar allow us free tutors to higher level creatures for virtually no cost. Add in The Gitrog Monster for lands, and baby, you got a stew goin'!

You'll also notice that quite a few of these cards have Annihilator on them. Now, Muldrotha's ability does not, strictly speaking, allow you to play cards from your opponents' graveyards. Bummer, right? Well, not quite. Enter: The Mimeoplasm . Holy dang, this card makes the graveyard theme of this deck complete. Mimeoplasm gives you all the ammo you need to steal creatures from your opponents that the Annihilator triggers have resolved, and since this deck revolves around putting your cards in the graveyard, why not sac to the Altar or Eldrazi Monument and then bring it that same turn as a copy of one of those freshly-dead creatures? It's almost poetic. Finally got rid of that silly Craterhoof Behemoth ? Turn the tables. Opponent got a five-color Nekusar, the Mindrazer that you just can't stand? Sorry lich king, your rule no longer applies here at this Dave & Buster's.

Overall, I feel like this will be a really fun deck to play and Sultai is quickly becoming one of my favorite color combos. Enjoy!
