Quick Info

So with Dominaria kicking in, there will be just 6 month left to try Improvise.

However at the same Time this Archetype will get an obscene power-boost with Bombs like Traxos, Scourge of Kroog, The Antiquities War or a pretty powerfull Tool with Voltaic Servant.

This Deck tries to gather all those gems we have for standard affinity within a Toolbox represented by Artificer's Assistant, Glint-Nest Crane, The Antiquities War and Inventors' Fair.

How to play this Deck Show

Early Game

Not to much to do in the first 2 Turns, just try to fill your bourd with the smaller creatures and artifacts, and try to keep your opponent in check with small tricks like Pacification Array or Metallic Rebuke/Battle at the Bridge. If you get really lucky you can cast Traxos.

But if you dont like your early board state you can still try some Reverse Engineering ;-)

Mid Game

With turns 4-5 this deck will start to unleash its full potential, as now you can most likely use Inventors' Fair to its full potential. And now is also the Time where Treasure Map starts to shine, 'cause with a single Valtaic Setrvant you can flip it as early as turn 4 or play and flip it directly on turn 5 if you have two Servants.

Speaking of Valtaic Setrvant: it is a realy nice enabler for your Improvise-Spells but aslo a pretty good tool to get more out of cards like Traxos, Scourge of Kroog, Key to the City or sometimes even the Pacification Array.

But if the Traxos plan feels to fragile especially when facing an opponent with lots of potent removal spells, you might also try to fetch the Forrebears Blade and swing with your small creatures.

Late Game

In the late game, you should be able to fully adopt to your opponents playstile, as your flipped Treasure Map or the other filtering and tutor options, should give you the opprtunity to reach out for almost any Solution including Noxious Gearhulk and if your oppoinent is still alive, you can close the game with The Antiquities War to overrun your opponent with an armada of Massive 5/5's.
