The Juice is Loose (Mimeoplasm Mill EDH)

Commander / EDH* BUG (Sultai) Goodstuff Mill Multiplayer

This Mimeoplasm deck was inspired by another user who wanted to solely use his opponents' decks as a form of targets for Mimeoplasm. I enjoyed the idea from it and included a small/medium mill package in my own Mimeoplasm deck to utilize this gameplay as well.

The deck isn't supposed to deviate away from its original goal: Ramp - cycle - reanimate/mimeo - win I don't want the deck to be competitive because I would like to have a solid deck new players could battle against without feeling like they're getting waffle-stomped every game. However, I still want the deck to be able to hold up in multiplayer with the other beasts.

Any help tuning the deck or suggestions on how I could improve the deck quality (removing creatures, replacements, etc. are welcomed) I'm currently in the process of acquiring a few fetch lands, Lord of Extinction, consecrated sphinx, and tunnel visions (mill combo).

LEGEND:

Sideboard: Cards I'm looking to acquire or considering for the deck

Maybeboard: Cards that were part of the deck or have been removed

Updates: Reasons for the removal or additions of cards.

Removals and Why: Fleeting Image and Mercurial Pretender Had these in to target with mimeo in case nothing good was in any graveyards, the idea was to bounce mimeo if he became targeted by removal or better targets became available and recopy those targets. However If there aren't any better targets then it's better to replace these cards with better targets rather than waiting on cards to appear.

Hinder I currently don't have the second piece of the combo Tunnel Vision in order to take advantage of this counterspell therefore the card is being removed to slot in better cards.

Siege Behemoth Was replaced with a better card with lower mana cost namely Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon Siege behemoth always seemed like another option in the graveyard but not one I found myself actively choosing I was always grabbing other cards which lead me to feeling that Siege Behemoth was just too weak.

Wrexial, the Risen Deep this is a tough choice for me since the card is so much fun but many times when it was in my graveyard it always felt like a "win-more" card, there were some instants I wouldn't mind playing from other players graveyards to control the board but I'd much rather be playing a stronger card with more impact and better keywords not to mention hard casting this guy is tough.

Wurmcoil Engine I always want to shove this card in each of my decks but everytime I put him in one I find a reason why I want to take him out. This time it's because he just comes out and people just instantly blast him away and I'm left with the tokens, sure I could just recast him from the grave but then the table turns on me again and the game just becomes boring and annoying. Not a great Mimeo target as mimeo becomes an artifact creature and is open to more removal spells.

Krosan Tusker I really wanted to love this card, but ultimately between discarding for mana to pitch a body into the grave and not having enough cards to play my deck, I felt the best course of action was to replace this card with a better CardFixing card

Solemn Simulacrum While everyone calls this value robot, in this deck the card lacks value. If he's in the graveyard he's useless and by the time I'm putting him on the field I would rather be putting other cards in my hand and grave... Verdict: I replaced him with a better cardfixing card.

Svogthos, the Restless Tomb replaced but due mana cost and acquiring fetchlands.

Memory's Journey I had to choose between protecting some of my graveyard or fueling my hand, I chose fueling my hand and graveyard was more important (there are things I want to put in the grave from my hand .) card has been replaced with a better cardfixing card.

Sultai Charm removed temporarily I don't want to take this card out and I'm actively looking for a slot to throw it back into... Has been replaced with Journey to Eternity  Flip

Sepulchral Primordial Removed for reasons, For hard cast he doesn't have enough umph outside multiplayer games, He doesn't actively dig or search through an opponents deck for cards and doesn't offer much versatility in keywords aside from intimidate making him a tough mimeotarget. Ultimately I decided to replace him with Lord of the Void

World Shaper I haven't found this card to be as impactful in the deck, he was always just kind of there sitting in my hand and when he came into play I didn't have many lands in the graveyard to take advantage of his death trigger.

Cards Added:

Archive Trap more mill? Why wouldn't I want this in the deck, most people use fetches anyway or tutor so it's a free response. It's hilarious when you archive trap the poor sap who is trying to tutor for their wincon but the trap finds it into the graveyard instead.

Lord of the Void This dude is an absolute maniac, turn mimeo into a flying behemoth with the ability to rip a creature right from an opponenets deck and put it onto the field.

Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon This dude works wonders with mimeo and can easily finish off a close game and pull you through a tough spot. Or just use it to one shot that fucker who decided to play stax this game.

Emrakul, the Promised End This card is awesome, most of the time you will have 5 different card types in your graveyard, then you cast this guy for 8 and take control of that one asshole who's been fucking everyone overall game and blow their shit up with their own spunk.

Glimpse the Unthinkable This is a mill powerhouse, you just gut someone for 10 (the guy who's been playing big fatties) then use those as mimeo fuel YUM!

Fauna Shaman not only does this girl discard that crap from your hand you need in he grave but she let's you TUTOR for that piece you need on the field mmmm this is SUCH A GOOD CARD!

Thassa, God of the Sea baby girl here makes mimeo unblockable, costs 3 mana and you can easily get her devotion and she scry's on your upkeep.

Journey to Eternity  Flip Honestly I haven't got much play out of this card but If I was removing crappy svogthos this felt like a good fit since it reanimates for the same cost as that ability.

Forbidden Alchemy, Grisly Salvage, Fact or Fiction, Thirst for Knowledge These were absolutely necessary, they keep the cards flowing not only into my hand but also fueling the graveyard 10/10 would keep in starting hand.
