The Grandfather Paradox

Standard* Aggro Budget UR (Izzet)

Goldwynn

Maybeboard

Creature (1)

Ever since I happened upon Fateful Showdown and Paradoxical Outcome, I've wanted to build a deck around that combo. That's what this deck is. What you want to do is play paradoxical outcome with around 5 creatures or artifacts on the field, return them all to your hand, draw your cards, and then hit your opponent with a Fateful Showdown for around 15 damage. This deck basically wants to get as many cards on the field as possible in the early game, then draw into this combo for an easy win, typically we can do this between turns 6 and 9, and if we have to do so later, we can sometimes hit for upwards of 20 damage.

This deck is a prototype, so I have yet to test it, but I do believe our worse match-ups will be control, and raw aggro. Any deck that has the ability to swing for lethal on turn 4 is likely going to have us in a tight spot. I have yet to build the sideboard, but this will be one of the main focuses.

If you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them, and please don't forget to upvote if you like the list!
