M14 Update —Aug. 14, 2013
Two changes in the deck; M14 made me aware of a lovely land card, Mutavault - I've added it in instantly.
I've also added Archangel of Thune - with a secondary life-gain theme to support my Griffins, it seemed like a very beneficial move.
Other cards I've added are mainly to the land base which is now massively fixed;
Ancient Tomb and Temple of the False God - two lands that just help massively with mana, even if it is colourless mana.
Flagstones of Trokair - if someone makes me sacrifice a Plains, I'll get another one for free.
Mistveil Plains - this card could help with removal easily. It means I get back the cards I need.
Vesuva - if I target a land-ramper or Emeria, the Sky Ruin with Vesuva I'm going to get a lot of mana, or I'm going to get myself two creatures every turn.
I've added a few cards to the Maybeboard too.
Serra's Sanctum - I only ave 11 Enchantment cards currently, so I don't see Serra's Sanctum as a key land currently. Maybe if the deck becomes more enchantment based I may consider it.
Cradle of Vitality - I can see this card really really helping here, but I'm still not entirely convinced on it.
Angelic Accord - more flyers for my army! This would make the deck more of a flying army deck, but the deck is called the Goldfeather Alliance, Zuberi's name maybe, but Angels are meant to be pure as gold, so it would fit both the theme and provide more heavy hitters and blockers...
Devout Invocation - the same reason as above, there is no downside to a massive amount of Angels.
Strionic Resonator - I'm not sure about this card, but I can see some beneficial situations with it. Whether it's worth using though is currently beyond me.

Thanks, I've always had a fascination with griffins/Gryphons, so I thought why not make an EDH on it?
I considered Gideon, and wasn't sure, but he does seem pretty strong. Isochron Scepter and card:Angel's Grace is just mean. I like it!
As for card:Marshal's Anthem, I entirely missed that card, it looks like that'll be a definite add. Thanks!

Isperia, Supreme Judge , how about griffins with a sphinx subtheme?Adding some blue would make is more viable and add some control

Yeah, that's true. I'm not a big blue player normally, so do you have any hints as to cards that I should be looking out for to play with?

Cool deck. Another Anthem to consider is Shared Triumph ;)If I were you, I wouldnt play cards like Blesses Reversal and Test of Endurance they do simply nothing. You play quite weak creatures, so I would consider some stronger spells like Return to Dust, Austere Command and so on. I just think of building snake-tribal deck around Seshiro ;)

Love this deck! You're general is boss btw, please don't change it, in case you didn't know he counts as a griffin :)
Light from Within and Door of Destinies seem pretty awesome to me. Also if you like mana doublers, Extraplanar Lens is the one you're missing.
I just noticed Griffin Canyon, I think I may build a griffin deck now.

As a PS you may like Serra's Blessing since you have Masako the Humorless. As well maybe a card like Magus of the Moat to take advantage of your flyers.

@Mr_Sam: Shared Triumph is a nice card, thanks for the suggestion! However I don't see Return to Dust or Austere Command being much use. Austere would hinder me more than anything as most of my Griffins are 4CMC plus.
@thoughtsinknots: Thanks - I do know Zuberi counts as a Griffin, so even if he isn't boosting himself, he boosts the others and gets affected by the Coat of Arms and Door of Destinies, which is going in, thanks for the suggestion!
I like Extraplanar Lens and Serra's Blessing. Magus of the Moat is another nifty card too.

absolutely. i don't know anything about edh, but it is interesting and its nice to see something a little more creative than most. i cant really speak to how good it would be, but it looks pretty cool. I played the griffin deck from m12 with Griffin Rider in casual and it was pretty fun. In thinking of that deck, what about Divine Favor, Pacifism, or Spirit Mantle? Maybe Awe Strike or Oblivion Ring? Oathsworn Giant would make your Griffins pretty scary. You could run Mana Tithe as a white counterspell.

I think Riptide Replicator could be cool, especially with all of that mana acceleration. Also, have you considered changelings? Avian Changeling is essentially just a second Wild Griffin, and Mirror Entity and Changeling Hero both bring cool stuff to the table.

@ClockworkSwordfish Ahaa, Riptide Replicator is brilliant! It's just, oh so awesome. Mirror Entity will also be useful, I'm not too sure on Changeling Hero.

its going to make it so your griffin spells cant be countered. regardless as to the color.

OisinL - Cavern of Souls has the mana ability that means that, as I pick Griffins, I pick the W mana but I get a Griffin that cannot be countered. That's me dropping one of those flying aces without anyone being able to Mana Leak, for an example to say. :)

i like it...nice to see something that's unique and not seen often...as for suggestions Gideon Jura could be helpful. Isochron Scepter would be awesome when paired with card:Angel's Grace...i also like running card:Marshal's Anthem sometimes the kicker helps you bounce back.
