If you really think about it, the story of King Midus, AKA King Macar, the Gold-Cursed, fits perfectly into mono black Demons/Artifacts, and it's almost like a burden of a superpower. Greedy King Macar is cursed with the touch of gold by Demons who love punishing glutinous mortals. He seeks ways to rid himself of the curse, or in this case...just make it a badass boardwipe trick that also nets sacable artifacts..
The core of the deck is tap/untap tricks to play with his inspired mechanic, like Puppet Strings and Ebony Horse, plus a few things that like the artifact tokens he produces. The side strategy is huge amounts of black mana ramp for drain spells that cripple and kill even in EDH. Mana doublers and Gold tokens make casting Blightsteel Colossus and the other big bad creatures a snap. Mycosynth Lattice and Darksteel Forge make everything I own Indestructible, setting up for an even more effective Damnation.
