Ever looked at a goat and wondered what sound they would make if you choked them? After that you probably wondered why you haven't build an army with goats as your main forces. Well, here you go. Now you can stampede your enemies with armies of chokable minions, and a few others as well. Let's go over the cards, shall we.

- Springjack Shepherd , Springjack Pasture , Trading Post: Obviously, any good goat armada needs ways to make goats, and these three fit the bill. Springjack Pasture and Trading Post both let you make goats every turn in exchange for some mana. The Shepherd, on the other hand, brings a barrage of goats in one fell swoop, so long as you have a good amount of white symbols on the board. Because of this, we have promoted the Shepherd to field commander, and due to this, many cards provide a heavy white devotion theme. Regardless, our horned minions will be coming in full force with these.

-Nyx-Fleece Ram: While often mistaken for a sheep, this holy goat provides a sizable 5 toughness to protect you until your other goats arrive, as well as gaining you constant life every turn, which keeps you alive or can be funneled into more goats via helpful Trading Posts.

- Knight of Meadowgrain , Cloudgoat Ranger , Nobilis of War , Pathbreaker Ibex: It seems the natives of Lorwyn are very versed in the use of goats as steeds. This three in particular are both riding appropriately sized goats into battle, while working as decent warriors on their own. The Knight's double-white mana cost provides more goats for the Shepherds while also being a 2/2 with first strike and lifelink. The Ranger, on the other hand, brings with him more Kithkin. While not as amazing as goats, the Kithkin still can help provide a sizable army, and can power up the giant's flying goat at the same time. Additionally, the spirit we know as Nobilis of War and his chariot pulled by red goats has decided to join our cause, and brings with him an impressive five white mana symbols for our Shepherd, as well as the ability to power up our other forces. This soldier is likely a force to be feared. Finally, our newest breed of goats, the "Pathbreaker Ibex", is one of our most devastating forces as their ability to grow and strengthen the goats around them, allowing our forces to overrun any opposition.

-Rhys the Redeemed: Every army needs a good turn one soldier. While we were unable to find any Mountain Goat s, we did find an interesting elf known as Rhys. He may prove difficult to recruit, but he brings with him a platoon of elves, and rumor has it that he is well versed in the art of goat breeding, so much so that, with proper supplies, he can literally double our fighting force every turn. Should his help prove to be too costly, we have also spotted a certain Kithkin who is only known as "The Figure of Destiny". He is at the moment a lowly soldier, but he will be easier to recruit as was the rest of our kithkin allies, and we sense from him an unusual amount of potential.

- Boros Reckoner : Our experts believe this minotaur is from a unique bloodline descended from goats, and thus we have high hopes for him. Regardless, his triple-white mana cost provides a large group of goats from our Shepherd, while also providing a terrifying force on his own. Additionally, he has shown better results then our other potential candidate, Hearthfire Hobgoblin . While also a decent warrior, his obsession with our goat troops borders on perversion, as is common with most goblins. While we would rather not let him near our army, we may be forced to recruit him should the minotaur become unavailiable.

- Heliod, God of the Sun : Normally we do not rely on divine intervention, but the Theros god known as Heliod seems to have taken a liking to our cause, and has offered his assistance in claiming victory. With his help, our soldiers are now twice as dedicated, able to attack the enemy while still blocking if needed, and the sun god seems to have brought his own personal clerics as warriors. Additionally, our heavy theme with white mana may even convince him to step onto the battlefield himself, a surely spectacular sight, I can imagine. We were hoping to convince the new god known as Xenagos to join our cause, as he and his race of satyrs are half-goats. Unfortunately, he declined, the cause of which we suspect to be Heliod's involvement.

-Spear of Heliod, Intangible Virtue, Honor of the Pure, True Conviction, Cathars' Crusade: As mentioned, Heliod has managed to show us ways to strengthen our forces, and with his help, we have created a truely terrifying army. As we cast more and more of these enchantments, our forces grow and strengthen. We have also adapted an interesting spell from the cathars on the plane of Innistrad, one that increases the strength all of our forces as new soldiers walk into the battlefield, as opposed to powering up all existing soldiers. While triggering this spell is a little trickier, the potential of it is much higher.
