Tired of being caught in the crossfire of every battle, the Farmers take up arms against the unsuspecting armies. Praying to the goddess Akroma, the Farmers find their piousness rewarded through life given to their Scarecrows. The very farm itself is sick of being walked over, and the war is being brought directly to those who would wage it.
Avacyn's Pilgrims, Noble Hierarchs, Deathcap Cultivators, and Rattleclaw Mystics are what run this farm, each praying for mana to build up ramp. Scuttlemutt assists in this creature ramp. The humans themselves take up Sharpened Pitchforks, Silver-Inlaid Daggers, and
True-Faith Censer
s to arm themselves, even wielding fallen
Harvest Hand
s for extra power.
Lurebound Scarecrow
s join them on the front line, declaring Green and getting support from any of the humans. Any fallen Scarecrows are easily returned by
Scarecrone
s.
Cloud Keys and Semblance Anvils reduce the cost of all Tools, Scarecrows, and even their almighty Akroma's Memorial. Combined with the ramp provided by the Farmers themselves, these things come out easily. Inventors' Fair can seek out anything needed, and
Scarecrone
can help draw into more free-drop artifacts.
And when the battle has heated up, out comes the godlike Reaper King, granting unimaginable power to other Scarecrows and helping clear out the opposition's field. Though Cloud Keys and Semblance Anvils can greatly help reduce its cost to summon, an additional variety of easy mana for its summoning can be found in the very mana created by the Farmers themselves. With an all-powerful Reaper King out, boosted by Akroma's Memorial, the Farmers soon find themselves dominating any battlefield.
Human Mana-Dorks, Free-to-Play Scarecrows and equipments, and an easy to summon Reaper King, all boosted further by a potentially Free-to-Play Akroma's Memorial. I've been wanting to make Modern Scarecrows work for quite some time, and any and all help with this latest iteration is greatly appreciated!
