Still kickin and alive since it's first build when BFZ released! Plus, thanks to the new(old?) rotation, this deck will be Standard legal for another year! A fun G/B Aristocrats deck that doubles as an aggro and ramp Eldrazi deck!

I actually made this deck unaware that the event deck runs a similar theme. But this is a faster, more ramp approach to a B/G sacrifice deck.

This deck's ultimate goal is it wants to find your Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger (Or various big friends). But fear not, should you not do it, this deck has plenty of other win conditions.

We got the basic early "PLEASE KILL ME" creatures, Blisterpod and Carrier Thrall . They serve as early game attackers, mid game chump blockers, and late game sacrifice bait.

Catacomb Sifter and Zulaport Cutthroat want you to sacrifice your creatures, and encourage a more aggressive playing field. Also scry for those cards you need! 2 or more Cutthroats on the field is a win con alone, as sacrificing 5 of your scions will do anywhere from 5-20 damage, depending on how many you have out.

Without From Beyond , I don't think this deck would ever work as well as it does (not to say you can't win a game without it!). It gives you Scions (obviously) and when you felt you've built up enough of them, you can sac it for the Conduit of Ruin , who himself will grab Ulamog and have you play him for 8 instead of 10, or if you have enough mana, just grab Ulamog! Multiple From Beyond is even better.

Smothering Abomination is more then a 4/3 flier for 4 and a win con, its also extreme card advantage. It's a Howling Mine (just for you!) and whenever you sacrifice a creature for any other reason, you draw an additional card (which you could plan with Catacomb Sifter ). If you have 2 out and have the food for them, you would be drawing 5 cards a turn. Wow! (Psssssssst, From Beyond + Smothering Abomination )

The Shadows block added the new toys of Cryptolith Rite and Westvale Abbey  , both easy 4-ofs in this deck. Also a couple of the friendly Emerge creatures.

I put Smuggler's Copter in the maybe section because heck, I'm sure a set of Copter's would do just fine in this deck, but I'm not running them personally because my 4 Copters are elsewhere.
