The Delirium of Selesnya

Standard* Dredge GW (Selesnya) Ramp

SnowLeo

Sideboard

I find it rather ironic that G/W, a colour combination that promotes life and protection, is using death and the graveyard's power to win. This irony is what prompted me to create this deck.

(The main goal of this deck, is like any delirium deck really, get delirium and cast Emrakul, the Promised End) -redacted-. But joining Emrakul on her quest is another finisher in the form of Angel of Deliverance. The angel can also get the job done by exiling away all the creatures.

Amonkhet Edit: Joining our delirious friends are out new mummies and aftermath cards Hooray! Recur them for extra value. Its also a great new creatures to beat down with.

The get to these goals we have our suite of ramp and delirium spells as well as some removal. Lets go through some of the more interesting choices:

Crop Sigil: This little sign is what powers our delirium, it cost next to nothing and is good later to get back any creatures and lands.

Topplegeist: Delirium benefitter as well as removal, this little creature can tap down anything permanently if enabled, take that Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger!

Geier Reach Sanitarium: All delirium decks should be using this land as it can enable delirium by getting that last piece you need as well as letting you draw cards!

Angel of Deliverance: Our second finisher may be a surprise to some but while it is 8 mana, it takes care of things differently than the Promised End. When enable and damage she deals will exile creatures and she has a relatively big body, good on offence and defence, it only takes a few swings to end the game, albeit a bit fragile.

Angel of Sanctions: Better in your hand since it costs less but when it is in the graveyard its a nice option to have. You should instead recur it from the graveyard instead of embalming it for maximum value!

Honored Hydra: Better in the graveyard. 4-mana 6/6 trample is pretty good beat down plan if i don't say so myself.

Prepare / Fight: This spell is really cool, it can save your creature in a trade and gain some life while your at it, or just give a little bit more damage to finish off the game. When milled or in the graveyard, it becomes a removal spell! The value! So versatile!

Well tell me what you think of this little experiment in irony! Helpful suggestions and comments are greatly appreciated!
