- The strategy of this deck is very straightforward: play as many wizards as possible until you can play and flip a Docent of Perfection , thus creating even more wizards for the D.A.!
- We have a playset of Metallic Mimic to make our wizards slightly bigger, and it has the benefit if drawing out a lot of our opponents removal, making it less likely our Docent of Perfections will be avada-kedavra-ed.
Wizarding Education
- Every bright young wizard should always be looking to play a turn 1 Soul-Scar Mage into either a turn 2 Metallic Mimic or Stormchase Mage.
- Expedite is good for triggering Jori En, Ruin Diver's card draw ability and triggering prowess on your wizards
- Playing cards like Anticipate main phase is useful for triggering prowess and hopefully drawing into one our burn spells.
- Do not forget that Soul-Scar Mage has a wither effect which makes your burn spells even better! Even if they don't kill your target, shrinking a creature to attack through is good
