Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet, Felidar Sovereign, Gisela, the Broken Blade, Kambal, Consul of Allocation, Linvala, the Preserver, Lone Rider  , Sorin, Grim Nemesis, Fumigate, Authority of the Consuls , Blessed Alliance and will rise your life. Covers a lot of situations, and every card does something else than just give life.

Help and suggestions are welcome !

Ayli, Eternal PilgrimAyli makes a successful comeback. After sideboarding this card, I felt something was missing. Her abilites can be useful, though I haven't used them that much. Her body is very valuable, and having deathtouch scares the opponent into sacrificing it's early creatures. Gives you time to build up your mana base and accumulate spells.

Lone Rider  Has a great synergy with everything giving you life. Reduced from 4 in the deck, to 3, now to 2. This creature has no value whatso ever when it's not transformed. You MUST play it, only if you know you'll get the 3 life in a turn. Otherwise, it's a suicide.

Gisela, the Broken BladeStrong flyer, lifegain triggers Lone Rider   to transform. Dies quite easily though. It's interesting to play if you have Bruna, the Fading Light in your hand though. Often I will play Gisela, try to attack at least one time for the life gain, then let her die to various spells, to then make her come back with Bruna, then meld in the same turn. Quite brutal !!

Bruna, the Fading LightCosts a ton of mana to cast, but damn this is a hard card to deal with (for your opponent). Sadly we do not have a lot of creatures in our deck, but mostly angels and humans. So there is a strong possibility that you will bring back Gisela, the Broken Blade, Linvala, the Preserver, Lone Rider   or Kambal, Consul of Allocation. Even without melding into Brisela, Voice of Nightmares, she can make you win the game.

Kalitas, Traitor of GhetScares the shit out of the opponent. If Kalitas is not dealt with immediately, it will become an problem for the opponent. We have a lot of removal in our deck so it's easy to trigger Kalitas's ability to pump him up. The only reason I have a single one in the deck is the price of the card. Though I tend to draw Kalitas quite often, with the various draw spells I have in the deck.

Kambal, Consul of Allocation Solid 2/3. Keeps a lot of creatures from attacking early in game. The ability is just great, in combination with Authority of the Consuls, it's possible to transform a Lone Rider   in a single opponent turn (given they play 1 creature spell + 1 non-creature spell).

Linvala, the Preserver Plays best when you are behind in a matchup. If you can wait to trigger BOTH her abilities on her entering the battlefield, wait. This will give you time to draw more cards to take over the game.

Anguished Unmaking Problem solver, can be fetched with Diabolic Tutor in case of emergency. Should have lots of life to spare.

Grasp of Darkness Solid instant removal.

Blessed AllianceThis has worked so well in my test plays, the 4 life gain triggers Lone Rider  , and the sacrifice an attacking creature is just pure control. Great value.

Sorin, Grim Nemesis Solid overall. Very much like the +1, -X works well too and has synergy with a lot of cards.
Fumigate Board wipe and life giver in crisis situations.

Painful Truths Allows you to draw a maximum of thee cards with the help of Prophetic Prism and Aether Hub.

Harsh Scrutiny1 mana black control & scry. Very fun to play, especially against aggro decks. Remove big threats !

Authority of the Consuls Life engine and slows down aggro decks. Having multiple of them is just hilarious.
Prophetic PrismI use it moslty for the draw. This deck fails without additionnal draw, and the card ability can be very helpful in mana color crisis situations.

Metalspinner's Puzzleknot Gives you 2 cards basically. The life loss can be easily compensated with a lot of spells that will give you back your lost life. As I said with Prophetic Prism, you NEED additional draw. You can't wait for Sorin to show up, or you'll likely DIE.

Aether Hub Awesome land. That's all !

Concealed Courtyard , Plains , Shambling Vent, Swamp All that we need.

Updates Add

Well after a miserable 0-4 at my LGS in standard, I found that I was missing a LOT of draw.

So I included Metalspinner's Puzzleknot with Prophetic Prism to help me get better draw in the early game. I think every game I played I would end up top decking after 6 turns, and Painful Truths sometimes is just too costly when you are already losing the game. Also brought back Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim, removed 1 Lone Rider  Flip, and sideboarded Collective Brutality

I have played a bit with this new version and it's really better, rarely have I been missing cards. As of now I've had success in Forge, but the real test still has to come.
