Interesting proposal tripwyre89! I hadn't even considered Ramos, Dragon Engine as a commander for this deck but I see why he's worth considering.

Ramos' ability sounds great in a 5-colour deck but this particular 5-colour deck is unusual: It's mostly colourless! Currently 68 of the cards are colourless, leaving only 31 cards that would trigger Ramos' ability. Of those 31 coloured cards, 22 of them contain only 1 colour and would therefore only add 1 counter to Ramos. Seems like his main abilities aren't going to offer a huge benefit in this deck as I would only occasionally be adding counters to him and typically only one at a time.

Thematically, I think Progenitus makes the most sense: Better to have a huge scary monster leading an army of monsters, rather than a dragon.

Impact-wise: This deck ramps hard but only 1/4 of it is Eldrazi, so having a big bad monster ready in the command zone is pretty nice. When Progenitus comes out, people need to deal with him. I'm not sure Ramos is going to have as large an impact on the game: The potential to create mana sounds good but I'm concerned it'll be 5 or more turns with Ramos in play before I can actually pull counters off and get some value out of him.

For now, I'm gonna stick with Progenitus. But I'll start keeping an eye on how often I'm playing coloured spells to see if Ramos would pay off or not.

Krosan Drover is a nice find, iLLu51v3, but only helping creature spells that cost 6 or more feels a little limited and I'm so pressed for space as it is, I think I'll pass on it. This deck ramps pretty consistently, so I think I'm okay without it. I'll keep it in mind in the future if I find I'm a little mana-shy on being able to cast the big dudes.

Would farseek be better than natures lore??

Hey SofaPotato, I think it depends on what your bigger priority is: Farseek gives more versatility as it can fetch a bigger variety of lands, while Nature's Lore lets the land come into play untapped, helping you ramp faster.

In this deck, I prefer Nature's Lore because I want to ramp as fast as I can. I've offset the drawback of "only" getting to look for a Forest by running all 10 Shock lands so I can usually find a Forest-shock that gives me whatever other colour I need.

Have you considered running the vivid lands? Are you familiar with Cryptic Gateway? I have it in my 4 color Eldrazi edh deck and it works wonders if you have a couple scions/spawns out. Defense of the Heart is pretty ridiculous in the early game.

I like the idea of the vivid lands, Brutal_B, but I need to go fast with this deck so I've tried to avoid lands that enter tapped where possible.

How does your Eldrazi deck do for tokens / bigger Eldrazi? When I first made this deck, I tried to incorporate both the big Eldrazi and tokens but found I was struggling to do well at either strategy. I ended up taking out most of the token-bits and shortly after that I removed Cryptic Gateway, too. Definitely a good card - I just often don't have Eldrazi out until I have big Eldrazi out.

Defense of the Heart, yes it's hard to argue with. Putting that on the table while playing Eldrazi typically means someone will take it out before it goes off, but then they use their removal on my enchantment and not the actual Eldrazi that come out. And the rare times DotH actually goes off, hello Eldrazi Titan Bros!

I also run Awakening Zone and From Beyond as well as Parallel Lives and Anointed Procession along with the Eldrazi spells/creatures that give me tokens. So my tokens come out pretty steadily most of the time. I plan on getting Ashnod's Altar so I can sac for 2 colorless instead of one...and then if Dictate of Erebos is out its just more of a pay off. Corrupted Crossroads for some mana fixing and Tomb of the Spirit Dragon for some lifegain.

Im curious as to how much this deck would cost to build from scratch. I know the prices of some of the bigger cards, like Progenitus and the Eldrazi Titans, but what about the others?
