A cough isn't as deadly as the plague but it is easier to catch and can be quite the nuisance.
[NB: WIP deck]This is a budget mono black control deck, with infect creatures. Aims to put down a creature, tick up opponent's poison counters, while protecting it and keeping the board clear of threats with discard and removal.
Never played modern before, and looking for a cheaper way to start. Hoping to just make this competitive for a FNM level of play.
My meta mainly features abzan, storm, burn, and aggro decks. It also has a few jund, tokens and the usual control decks too. I believe there's one infect deck as well so tips/suggestions for the mirror (although it's not as important) as well as those other archtypes above would be welcomed.
I have concerns about manabase and land count and whether I should add in budget utility lands. Some help with whether my creature count is too low and whether I should include more card draw as well as if I have enough board wipes.
Any suggestions for other ways to deal with enchantment/artifacts (I think that'll be one my bigger problems) would be helpful too.
Finally I would prefer help with designing a better sideboard.
