Zombies and Wizard: sacrifice effects, tokens, counters, graveyard recursion, draw cards, creature stealing, and redirection control

Rice and Beans:

The basics of the play revolve around a rhythm of land drops/mana producing spells. The earlier you can play Thraximundar, the better.The draw spells (particularly Sunbird's Invocation and Indomitable Creativity targeting your own tokens/creatures) are important for establishing the end game quicker and stronger than the opponents, and a few counter spells/redirection for protection.

Your choice of meat or vegetables:

Archfiend of Depravity is great for setting up a weak creature board for Thraximundar to wipe out.

Deathbringer Thoctar + Death Baron is a self-propelled meat maker.

Grimgrin, Corpse-Born is great with a token base or Gravecrawler on the side.

Malfegor is great for those multiplayer creature boards.

Havengul Lich or Marchesa, the Black Rose or Mikaeus, the Unhallowed or Relentless Dead or Sheoldred, Whispering One are all good choices for leftovers.

The gods The Locust God and The Scarab God can bring great fortune in your favor.

Yahenni, Undying Partisan a minature Thrax, for the kids, still has plenty of staying power.

Combos are extra:

Killing Wave + Chandra's Ignition are nice dessert to finish.

Animation Module + Thraximundar + Phyrexian Altar + Dictate of Erebos are enough to bring home to the family.
