The Best Ramp is the Ramp That's... Sultai?

Standard BUG (Sultai) Competitive Post Rotation Ramp

Sideboard

As you most likely know, the Standard Open was a Golos-filled mess. The only deck to make it to the top 8 was a Simic Ramp deck in the hands of Matthew Nass. This is my take on seemingly the only archetype to truly challenge Golos. Black adds a lot of threats that Simic just doesn't have, and allows us to play such anti-Golos cards as Casualties of War , and Garruk, Cursed Huntsman . Even a Lochmere Serpent to get past all those blockers.

Clackbridge Troll is massively underused in this format. It took quite a bit of convincing for me to give up on Anowon, the Ruin Sage in modern, and this is Anowon plus a big threat, plus card advantage, plus life! Admittedly, he's really bad against Golos, which is why there's only one of him in the mainboard.
