Version 1, Minotaurs: As you can probably gather from the oldest comments below, this deck started out as a Minotaur tribal deck. Along with my Hydra deck (I started playing Magic during Theros if you couldn't tell), it was one of my first two decks.

Version 2, Kiln Fiend: I wanted to play competitively. I changed my Hydra deck to a Bant deck and I changed my Minotaurs to Kiln Fiend ! I gladly replaced the black with blue and have been loving the explosiveness ever since.

I sure do miss playing with my cow dudes... But this deck now has a great story for me personally and it's fun to play! And for modern, it's very budget friendly.

Explosiveness. Absolute explosiveness.

Kiln is able to get pumped for a one-hit KO normally by turn 3.

From my experience playing it, the best card in the deck is Manamorphose and it's not even close. It is literally a free +3 for Kiln.

I'm currently experimenting with Simian Spirit Guide.

Currently a work in progress.
