This deck is built low to the ground and tries to win by swarming the ground with simply too many creatures for the opponent to handle. This seems to be the most effective strategy to beating Sylvan Caryatid and Courser of Kruphix midrange decks, as their blockers are only block 1 out of 5 attackers.

When playing this deck, make sure to mulligan somewhat aggressively. You want to keep a hand that is capable of dealing at least 5 damage by turn 2 or one that can have three creatures in play by turn 2.

Wild Slash is a great add for this deck. It gives us a touch more game against heroic (since protection prevents damage, this stops it- however note that we can still fail to target it. Great against Favored Hoplite.

Mardu Scout just seems ineffective against tokens and having one toughness. It's great against control, but that's already a pretty good matchup.
