Welcome to my take on Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge a powerful Grixis General specializing in castings lots of spells for free.

General Goal of the deck or the "Win Condition"

Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge was an awkward build for me as I wasn't sure how she would win the game until I actually played her. I initially thought I'd use commander damage or spells that would effect my opponents immediate life totals to win the game but after a few games of play testing it has become apparent to me that the key to victory with Jeleva at least in this deck is to generate some sort of advantage whether it is cards in hand, Mana base. or putting down advantage generating permanents like Rhystic Study or Consecrated Sphinx and then use this advantage to generate even more advantage over your opponents until you can setup a way to win the game. Keep in mind this process of achieving victory can be slow but it can also be surprisingly fast depending on your opening hand/ Jeleva cast. This deck has a high control Shell built around devaluing my opponents permanents and hands to further generate myself an advantage over them.

Deck Tech and Specs

So now that I've talked about how this deck plans on winning lets just talk system specs here. I'm running 42 instants and sorceries and 57 permanents. The land base is full of utility lands like Maze of Ith, Strip Mine, Hammerheim, Creeping Tar Pit, Bojuka Bog, Boseiju, Who Shelters All and a few equally important lands. Four mana rocks are being utilized to generate a faster mana base so I can cast even my higher cost spells from my hand in decent time. The rest of the deck is Comprised of a toolbox to enable instants and sorceries quickly and efficiently as well as generate more value along with a host of equipment's which when equipped to Jeleva protect her and increase the speed of which the deck can generate advantage.
