GRIXIS DELVER! Welcome!
This is Grixis Delver, but in my way. This is a tempo deck, that is more based around killing dem creatures. Here is the cast-
-CREATURES-
Delver of Secrets
- The cornerstone of the deck, the card that takes up half the name. This is the classic tempo beater, and man, is it awesome.
Young Pyromancer- Who doesn't love a flood of creatures from just casting super efficient and cheap spells? This guy will create the army that you need.
Gurmag Angler- A very efficient beatstick that feeds off the mass amount of cards that go in the grave, from fetch lands, to super cheap spells. He is awesome.
Tasigur, the Golden Fang- Beatstick #2, he is good when things become a grind. Also, BANANAS!! (I actually don't really like bananas..)
-SPELLS-
Lightning Bolt- The namesake card of Modern. I don't think I need to tell you why it is in here.
Remand- The tempo counterspell, this is in some cases a Time Walk with draw a card attached to it.
Mana Leak- The counterspell for just about everything.
Terminate- BE GONE DEMON! This is the really good kill spell that the Grixis colors provide.
Serum Visions- I like cards, and to see the cards on top, and to set up Delver of Secrets
. Yes.
Gitaxian Probe- This gives us important information that allows us to plan accordingly. A good card all around.
Thought Scour- These enable us to cast our delve creatures really early. A great card.
Inquisition of Kozilek- Say goodbye to your cards! This doesn't hit everything, but it doesn't lose us life, and it takes most. Deal.
Kolaghan's Command- The reason that Grixis is now the go-to color. This is efficient, and fits well in the Grixis strategy.
-LANDS-
Um.. yeah. There are fetch lands, and shock lands... OH! And basics! Yeah, lands!
