Stall and fog your way to swells of mana produced by Axebane Guardian and his defender buddies so you can cast ridiculous angels early in the game. Troll your opponents with Iona, Shield of Emeria or simply beat their face in with the army of angels that you have from Luminarch Ascension.

During my playtest, I was able to successfulyl cast a turn 4 Iona, Shield of Emeria.

Turn 1: Plains, Perimeter Captain
Turn 2: Forest, Overgrown Battlement
Turn 3: Any land, Axebane Guardian
Turn 4: Land, Tap Overgrown Battlement and Axebane Guardian for 6 mana, tap some lands, and then we have Iona, Shield of Emeria

I am considering putting 2x Belbe's Portal in here so I can cast even more angels, but I'm aware that wouldn't make the deck Modern. I may do it anyways. Not sure.
