Manabase

A two color mana base is pretty simple and contains mostly basics. All dual lands that enter untapped are great includes as well. Added manafixing comes trough fetches. They also thin the deck out so you draw gas later instead of lands. Ash Barrens and Evolving Wilds are cheap options that do the same, while slower. I also added artifact lands as enablers for Inventors' Fair and searchable with Trinket Mage

The accelerants are also mostly staples: Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Fellwar Stone, Izzet Signet, Mind Stone

Upgrades for the Manabase: - Wandering Fumarole -> Sulfur Falls since Sulfur Falls just got reprinted, it is really cheap now. - Evolving Wilds -> Fabled Passage Strictly better version of the same card. Zendikar/Khans fetches still do a better job. - Coldsteel Heart and Gilded Lotus can be upgraded with Talisman of Creativity and Chrome Mox

This was and is my first real EDH deck and i learned a lot about the format and playing the colors with this deck. It changed quite a bit in the past, I removed a lot of big clunky stuff and added interactive or flexible cards. My Manabase needs some Upgrades, namely Fetches and Ancient Tomb. I will buy these over the time

This Deck is super-reliant on its Commander, so protection is important, which i added in form of counterspells. It's also important to get The Locust God out pretty fast, the deck is acellerant-heavy

Please tell me what you think and which Cards you would cut/add Considered Cuts: Mission Briefing: Not as flexible and useful as deemed Remand: More of a strom card, thats not fitting here

Upgrades: Coveted Jewel with Muddle the Mixture

Magus of the Moon -> Darksteel Plate

Mana Leak -> Flusterstorm

Arcane Denial -> Pact of Negation Wash out -> Cyclonic Rift

Future Upgrades: Sulfur Falls Mana Drain I'll also look out to get hold of a Tezzeret the Seeker
