Alright what if there was a deck that doesn't actually involve Death's Shadow ever being on the Battlefield but is still in the deck? Maybe there is already one out there, but hear me out.

So the goal of the deck is to get out your Blood Artists, Zulaport Cutthroats, and Athreos, God of Passage. Once they are out you cast Death's Shadow and if you have over 13 life, he will go strait to the graveyard. Athreos, God of Passage will allow you to bring him back to your hand (unless your opponent loses the 3 life, even better!) Then cast Death's Shadow again all the while triggering Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat grinding your opponent's life away. Another (more efficient) way is to do the same concept but with and Ornithopter. use Cartel Aristocrat or Viscera Seer ability to sac it and then have it come right back to your hand with Athreos's ability. Then throw the thopter back out for 0! creating a (potential) infinite sacrifice and recast. Claim / Fame is great if your opponent decides to pay the 3 life to not have a creature return to your hand or you don't have Athreos, God of Passage out yet!

Removal spells are pretty general. Tragic Slip and Fatal Push

You will also be able to generate 5/5 demons with Skirsdag High Priest fairly easily.
