Updates Add

For a final round of changes I removed 4 Abrade and added 3 Lightning Strike and 1 more Rhonas the Indomitable. I took it into a series of 5 games and here are the results:

2-0 vs Mono Green Monument

This was the easiest match to win. RG Elves is built to dominate a creature based metagame and all Monument had to offer was creatures for my removal to eat up. In the first round, a turn 2 Rhonas the Indomitable pretty much sealed the deal. In game 2, I was put down to 3 life and a turn 6 Jaya's Immolating Inferno completely wiped their board, hit their life, and ended the whole thing.

2-0 vs UR Unblockable

Difficult to overcome in some senses. Once Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive and Throne of the God-Pharaoh came down the deck hit its sweet spot. However, they weren't very interested in blocking and thus when I started attacking with Steel Leaf Champion unanswered I was able to catch up. Also, another game 1 won with Jaya's Immolating Inferno. People have pretty severely underestimated this card.

2-0 vs Mono Green Stompy

A slightly different game from the monument deck, he was trying to power out Ghalta, Primal Hunger and not running Greenbelt Rampager nor the monument. So far, 50% of my games have been swung in my favor thanks to Immolating Inferno. A trend happens where they build up their board state, get confident, and then it gets swept away while I get to keep my beefy creatures. I can even sit back and take some damage before I get there. Now considering running 4 copies of the spell but just seeing 1 a game tends to do the trick.

2-1 vs UG Dinosaurs

Finally won one without Immolating Inferno. Chandra, Torch of Defiance makes this deck CRAZY good. Getting to cast Rhonas off the top with her on game 3, plus flooding out with mana dorks and Immolating Inferno in hand I basically saw from turn 3 "Oh, I'm going to win." Two turns later, it's GG.

2-1 vs RB Aggro

Possibly the hardest game of the 5 games; RB aggro is the real deal but so is this deck. Game 1 I got the nut draw and powered out Steel Leaf Champion andGrand Warlord Radha on turn 2 and 3 respctively. In game 2 I was able to bring in Abrades to deal with the vehicles, lost that one, but in game 3 i was able to withstand the early storm and over power them in the late game. Overall score 5-0. Lessons learned: Grand Warlord Radha and Jaya's Immolating Inferno are the real deal and quite underestimated at the moment. Legends matter decks can be consistent provided enough support to cast those historic sorceries. RB Aggro is good and if that deck had brought out a Ghalta, I would have been toast. Not sure if there is a good sideboard option for it in just RG.
