First time (I only had 1 Silverblade Paladin and 2 Cavern of Souls

1-2 vs Mono Red Burn, got killed by Stromkirk Noble. 2-0 against GW AngelRamp. 2-0. GW Ramp Humans??? 2-0. GW AngelRamp 2-0. GW Humans 2-0. Placed 8th/65

I don't have the exact scorings. But it has taken 8th (again), 6th, 3rd, and 5th. The only problem I have had is against Red/burn, and G/R Titan-Nexus. it's consistent top-8ing makes me happy.

Not a bad start :) I'd recommend Blade Splicer or attended knight when m13 comes out to increase your flood of creatures. If the only reason you have red is for thatcher revolt, I'd probably just ditch it for Gather the Townsfolk or Increasing Devotion . If you want to keep red, some nice options are Rally the Peasants , Hero of Oxid Ridge , and Kessig Malcontents

@HoneyBadger, Thanks but here is what I was thinking on those suggestions: Blade Splicer , I really like but where do I fit him in? Gather the Townsfolk a little slow and Thatcher Revolt provides 3 tokens with haste for 1 more mana. Increasing Devotion then becomes my highest CMC card and still does not have haste. Rally the Peasants is nice but what to take out for it? I would rather have Riot Ringleader that gives Battle Cry-ish abillity with a body for the same mana. Hero of Oxid Ridge is a weak body, I like the haste but his ability as far less comparable to Hero of Bladehold , Kessig Malcontents is okay but with Thatcher Revolt not providing creatures that stick it becomes less viable for a great benefit, thanks for the suggestions! (I also forgot Attended Knight whom gives a soldier and not a human)

All excellent points. I'd personally ditch borderland ranger unless you are having mana problems. If you can fix it with lands like Copperline Gorge or Razorverge Thicket , then you could have 3 free spaces, but I understand mana can be tricky. Gather the townsfolk may not have haste, but it does come out a turn earlier, and the tokens stick around which is nice, and in the late game, it produces 5 tokens instead. It'd be something to think about, but the way you structured this with goldnight, it isn't as good as thatcher. Now that I've read the huge description of how the deck operates, I can see it isn't really anything like other human decks and is less suited for gather the townsfolk (though it still would be pretty good, but that's just a a testament to your deck). Honestly, when I first saw 4 goldnight commanders, I kinda scoffed, but shut me up and paint me red, it's actually a good card in your deck :P I give you props for seeing the potential in cards that no one else has, which is something I always try to do.

Hero of oxid ridge is definately a weak body, and with so many common 2 power creatures like snapcaster and solemn simulacrum, I replaced him with Hellrider in my naya deck because 3/3 lives a lot longer than 4/2, even though I prefer hero of oxid ridge's abilities more than hellriders. But with protection from lambholt, or a double strike bonus from the paladin, or blocker manipulation from odric, or +1/+1 boosts from adaptive automaton, goldnight, hamlet captain, the mayor, or gavony township, he will almost NEVER be a weak body- your deck is excellently crafted to ensure that. Don't get me wrong, Hero of Bladehold is one of my favorite cards ever, but she has to live long enough to attack to do any good :/ She has a huge target on her head (and for good reason), and often times, she would be removed before she could go off. I've found that The haste on oxid ridge greatly increases the chance of getting value from him. I wouldn't ditch hero of bladehold, but I can't shake the feeling that hero of oxid ridge would be super good in this deck IF your mana can support it.

Honestly, without playtesting vs. it, I couldn't really tell you what to take out, but if you notice something feels clunky or it just sits in your hand because it needs something else to be effective, those are good signs that you should try something else in it's place and see if it fits better

Yes Bladehold isn't a hit the ground swing vs. Oxid Ridge's Haste, Bladehold has an ability that is a potential for 2 4/3s when she does swing. I do like Oxid Ridge however with all the things that make my guys unblockable already I don't think I need him. Don't get me wrong, Haste is my favorite mechanic, I just don't see another 4-slot he can fit into is what I am saying. What are your thoughts on replacing Borderland Ranger with either: A. Lightning Mauler giving Bladehold haste. Or B. Riot Ringleader battle cry. Thanks again

Haste is my favorite mechanic, too lol! The idea of giving hero of bladehold, odric, or silverblade paladin haste is waaaay too sexy to pass up. There is a reason those creatures don't have haste- they'd be broken if they did. I'd be really scared to see lightning mauler out actually, knowing what nasty surprises could follow in your deck. I'd say give it a shot and see if it feels natural.
