Teysa, Orzhov Scion + Darkest Hour + ( Blasting Station or Altar of Dementia ) = win cons. This also produces infinite colored mana with Phyrexian Altar. You can use this infinite mana combo with Skullclamp for infinite draw instead of mana, just alternate between the token dying from Skullclamp and Phyrexian Altar. You can do the same thing for infinite lifeloss/gain with Ghost Council of Orzhova instead of Skullclamp. infinite mana is obivously a win con with Exsanguinate or an unblocked Nirkana Revenant/ Stillmoon Cavalier . in addition to Ghost Council of Orzhova which is life infinite gain/loss, Blood Artist creates the same combo of infinite mana/sac/lifeswing, thus providing the same win con.

Most Teysa, Orzhov Scion decks have that combo as a focus in the deck. In addition, traditional teysa decks tend to have loads of (mainly white) token producers, whether creature or other spell. They do this to utilize teysa's exile ability. I was running Hero of Bladehold but instead of token generators i decided to run a few decent beaters, Divinity of Pride, Silverblade Paladin etc, and load down with draw and tutor pull off a win con as quick as possible.

As with the 5 potential Teysa infinities in the deck (mana, draw, lifegain/lifeloss, mill, and ping damage), i decided to throw a sneak left hook win con in. Necropotence + (Phyrexian Unlife or Platinum Angel) + Repay in Kind. its simple, i use angel or unlife to allow me to hav 0 health and not lose the game, then i Repay in Kind and drop the whole table to 0 for the win.

Weaknesses: all off my teysa win cons depend on 1 card, Darkest Hour . and my secondary win con depends on Necropotence and Phyrexian Unlife (or angel). in sumation, a well placed enchant destroy ruins my win. to fix this im running Grand Abolisher, Abeyance and Eight-and-a-Half-Tails. the first two are cheap enough to play them before i make a move in hopes of provoking that counter someone has, or prevent all their spells if either resolve. and Eight-and-a-Half-Tails is an obivous choice for enchant protection. also, Greater Auramancy should go without saying.

Strengths:This deck moves fast. With a relatively low average CMC, and just about every powerful and staple tutor relevant, I get what i need quickly and win con quickly if ignored. I might look innocent the first few turns, but if im allowed to get the 3 or 4 cards out i need for one of my win cons, i can kill everyone in the group at once.

That was a pretty underlining goal in this revision of the deck, I wanted my win cons to be infinite, so i could effectively end all opponents lives in one turn. This is important because very rarly do the communities of edh i play in have one vrs one matches. the vast majority of the time games are played with 4+ persons. And its never fun to hav a life gain and a control deck sittting there duking it out, 45 min after the other players died. So this deck hopefully will allow me to end my enemies swiftly and gracefully.

the sideboard is built to adjust from multi player games to 1v1 games. i dont main board a lot of single target hate in multi player games because it becomes to political. cards like Sinkhole, Stripmine, Sorin Markov make enemies on the multiplayer field of battle. on the other hand my sideboard also has cards like Rise of the Dark Realms and Elixir of Immortality if theres a mill deck on the field, or cards like Return to Dust and Austere Command/Merciless Eviction if there is a substantial artifact or enchant threat. however i have to use aoe enchant destroy wisely because i depend on chants as well.

I really would love some feed back here, tell me what u think is wrong with the deck, how it could be better, or any other good wincons that would synchronize well. Ive seen a whole lot of Teysa, Orzhov Scion deck lists, and this is revision 6 of this deck. it originated from my attempt to create an equipment deck in orzhov suit, using Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts as general. needless to say it failed, namely due inpart to the fact that im pretty sure Sharuum the Hegemon is the only general for effective equipment decks ( i mean its kinda hard to take Kemba, Kha Regent seriously as a general, but i have seen some Eight-and-a-Half-Tails decks that seem to work). but after much disgrace and noob flopping, and after 2 formal postings on tapped out of "finalized" deck lists, I think im about done. also, if u read this whole thing, i applaud you.
