a few minor swaps —July 13, 2019
Haven't been playing a lot of EDH recently, but I do have a couple of small tweaks.
-Oath of Lieges - may return at some point, since I have been enjoying the effect, but I think I've added a decent amount of draw to the deck, which has helped with the problem of consistently hitting land drops.
-Soul's Attendant - as above, may return at some point, but I'm testing out another card in its place. It is a pretty low-impact card that dies to a stiff breeze though.
+Authority of the Consuls - testing over Soul's Attendant. Not a creature, which is both an upside and a downside - I'm hoping that the fact that it is significantly harder to kill will outweight the downside of being harder to recur + not providing a body (although I usually don't want to sacrifice my nontoken creatures anyway). Not triggering off my own creatures is also a downside, but stopping me from getting smacked by hasty threats should save more life in the long run.
+Dreadhorde Invasion - testing. I've been wanting to add Bitterblossom to the deck for ages, and while this is significantly worse, it hopefully will still be serviceable. This deck doesn't have a lot of token generation that isn't reliant on having creatures, so nice to have something that provides value after a wrath.
