a few minor tweaks before RNA —Jan. 1, 2019
Swapping around a few things. I expect more significant changes once RNA comes out - Afterlife is practically designed for this deck (black and white tokens? yesssss).
-Tamiyo's Journal - haven't tested it as much as I would like, so may come back at some point.
-Primevals' Glorious Rebirth - as above, I don't think I'm running enough legends to support it. I'm slightly shifting away from the legendary theme, since I don't think I can get a high enough as-fan at the moment, but that may change depending on card acquisitions. Another issue is this deck doesn't have much self-mill, so filling the graveyard is nontrivial.
-Buried Ruin - this deck isn't that heavy on artifacts to recur, and I've been wanting to cut a few colorless lands.
-Westvale Abbey Flip - always draws more hate than it deserves, IMO. 5 mana + a life is a terrible rate for token production. Flip side is interesting, but has a high cost that rarely feels worth it.
+Demonic Tutor - I've been saying for a long time that the #1 thing this deck needed to be more competitive is a pile of tutors, so it's a nice starting point. Only got one from my box of UMA, so all my other decks are sadly missing out.
+Dawn of Hope - testing. This deck doesn't really have any mana sinks or raw token production, so seeing how it goes. 4 mana is a pretty inefficient rate though - I've cut Mobilization and Sacred Mesa in the past. The real attraction is the card draw though - I don't have a ton of life gain, but it does self-enable, so hopefully will be active most of the time.
+Swamp, Plains - been wanting a few more colored sources, especially Plains for Emeria.
