The deck gains life early on by extorting opponents. It protects itself with good spot removal through the mid-game. Late-game is all about board wipes and big X spells (Debt to the Deathless wins more games than one might expect it to). Also, Glacial Chasm is a great lock-down tool. Sometimes it might combo off along the way. The deck can be made meaner with more tutors.
