Ohhh baby, made one deck with a shitload of rats, thought it was time for round two of "put a bunch of this one gimmick card in a mostly not-gimmick deck and make it fun"... It sounded better in my head, don't judge me.

Basically the theme is Rat Colony + Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive + Thrumming Stone But the underpinnings are a lot of Transmuting for specific cards and just fun jank. Along the way I discovered a few gems that belong in a Muldrotha, the Gravetide deck if you're into that sort of thing.

There are going to be a few things you immediately recognize from other decks IE Snow Lands + Scrying Sheets and Top that don't specifically belong in this deck that I included simply because I happened upon Viscerid Drone when looking at Homarids, a combo that doesn't specifically fit in this deck as much as it would in a Muldrotha deck, but is some seriously sweet value when put together. Phylactery Lich + Worldslayer for the meme, with the option of just unblockably sneaking in damage and threatening to build back up to 5 mana again.

Training Grounds included for the synergy with The Scarab God and for Pack Rat and Dreamscape Artist (that guy also wants to go in your Muldrotha deck, put him there, make him happy) but not for anything else, which is why it's important that Dizzy Spell has other valuable transmute targets when Muddle the Mixture and Dimir Infiltrator really only need the very specific targets that they currently have (besides boatloads of Rats).

Some other fun little things are Bontu's Monument + Thrumming Stone Which is essentially a 25-30 damage burn spell and the threat that even a single rat can kill afterwords. Ogre Slumlord for the actual rat tribal plays and Door of Destinies really just to pump up the toughness of those Rat Colonies.
