So this is another deck I've wanted to build for a while. Niv-Mizzet is an interesting general (both Firemind and Dracogenius), and I've wanted to build this one for a while. I eventually decided on The Firemind because his ability was arguably better and I felt a deck built around card draw rather than direct damage would be more fun.

This initially started out as me throwing random cards together, but I eventually found things that worked together well with the general. Izzet is definitely interesting to build around, and I knew this deck would be pretty instant and sorcery heavy. Which works very well with The Firemind's ability, and I could potentially be doing a ton of damage in one turn just off of card draw. That isn't even Commander Damage either, so this deck overall should be interesting.

Card draw is obviously huge with this deck due to The Firemind's ability, so along with lots of draw spells I also threw in quite a few cards that give you no max hand size, seeing as you'll be drawing tons of cards. Reliquary Tower is an obvious one, then there's also Graceful Adept that also help with hand size.

Since we're also dealing a ton of damage with card draw, Psychosis Crawler is going to be a huge threat to your opponents for this deck. Jhoira of the Ghitu is also there to help get big things like Temporal Mastery and Part the Waterveil out in case I don't have the mana for them. I don't feel mana will be an issue with this deck, but we'll have to see how it works out.

On that note, extra turns are going to come in handy quite a lot in a deck like this, as you can get more of the cards in your hand to the board and ideally be drawing more for more damage. So there's also plenty of extra turn cards in here that are applicable to the deck.
