Description Show

Prophet and Kruphix synergize to enable huge X amounts. Counter spells allow early control to counter aggro and combo decks until we get our mana and/or Kruphix combo out. Overall there's a lot of flexibility, with many games being won by simply stomping down the enemy with big creatures. Mindswipe gets around player hexproof and Crater's Claws can target anything including Planeswalkers. Kruphix usually isn't a creature which makes him extra difficult to remove. Primal Command gains enough life to survive most aggro decks, resets graveyard against mill, bounces a card to hand so I can counter it, and allows me to play my deck like a tool-kit, searching for the right creature for the situation.

Only major weaknesses are aggro decks with creatures that can't be blocked, countered, or targeted and board-wipe + card-advantage decks, but who doesn't struggle against those? With a few key upgrades this could easily be a tournament winning deck. Let me know what you think!

Gameplan Show

Turn 1: Appear innocent.

Turn 2: Telling Time, mana-dork, or Mana Leak.

Turn 3: Morph cast, stompy 4-drop, Tamiyo, or Mindswipe where X=1-2.

Turn 4: Morph activate, Prophet, or Claws with ferocious.

Turn 5: Kruphix, Ballista, or Primal.

Turn 6: Any X spell or Polukranos monstrosity for big impact.

Turn 7: Same as turn 6.
