I copied it on here because I want to play it and improve upon it over time.

You can see my considerations in the "Maybe-board." If you think that something would go well in there, or you think you found something I can go without in the deck in place of something on the maybe board please comment below!

Introduction

This deck is a heavy energy token strategy. It likes to go wide on the board, but unlike other strategies it likes to do it for free on a massive scale. The main ways this deck generates tokens is through Whirler Virtuoso and Ishkanah, Grafwidow. Both can create a ton of energy if there are any number of Decoction Modules on the field because of all the ETB triggers.

Nothing is more satisfying than late game end of turn returning a Ishkanah, Grafwidow or Whirler Virtuoso with Decoction Module just to play it the next turn and get more value while avoiding removal. Well there is one thing that is more satisfying:

If you have 3 Decoction Module and a Whirler Virtuoso in play then you get INFINITE THOPTERS! Ever since Kaladesh release I have trying to make a deck centered around this combo. Sometimes it was Izzet, sometimes it was Grixis, and it started out Jeskai. I used to include Panharmonicon , but unfortunately I can't have that many "dead" cards in my deck. It finds it's home here due to the protection Ishkanah, Grafwidow gives the deck, and its overall ability to win without going infinite.

Because we are running an energy theme and BG Delerium is so huge in the meta right now (at least at my store) Aetherworks Marvel and Emrakul, the Promised End see play in the deck to cheat it out before our opponent can. Don't forget that tokens hit the graveyard, so just create a bunch of thopters to kill your opponents creatures and still have the energy to activate Aetherworks Marvel.

In my experience even though there is a low land count we don't have issues getting land because we can tutor for one with Attune with Aether or Traverse the Ulvenwald if we really have to even though we only run 20 lands. Because we run so few it makes our late game draws more potent and our Aetherworks Marvel activation more flexible.

With all of these separate triggers gaining us energy we have to throw in a few Fabrication Module s to get our creatures huge and out of our opponents removal range. I do like playing Ishkanah, Grafwidow and getting 10/14 worth of stats with a Fabrication Module and Decoction Module in play.

Overall why do I like this deck. I like this deck because I love my opponents saying, "What the heck was that?" and still being slightly competitive. Cheers and happy brewing!

EDITS

Edit 1:

I exchanged 1 Longtusk Cub and 1 Servant of the Conduit for 2 Bristling Hydra main and the 1 Dispel on the side for 1 Bristling Hydra.

After playing the deck for about 10 matches on MTGO I ran into a good amount of removal which Bristling Hydra is better vs. Than Longtusk Cub. I also found that I had a ton of extra which means I can use Bristling Hydra as another energy dump.

I don't think the 1 of Dispel is good on the sideboard. All of the control decks are playing tons of instants, but more threats, and a "hexproof" creature on the field is better. Having the ability to have a creature that control decks can't deal with is better than the possibility of canceling 1 spell.

Getting more value out of Aetherworks Marvel is also very nice having a higher curve.

Edit 2:

I moved 1 Emrakul, the Promised End to the main in place of 1 Whirler Virtuoso because in some of match-ups Ishkanah, Grafwidow is not quite enough. Being able to cast it in game 1 is a big deal. With how easy it is to get 6 card types in the graveyard Emrakul, the Promised End only ends up costing 2 more than Ishkanah, Grafwidow which is very reasonable considering how well Ishkanah, Grafwidow delays the game.

Edit 3:

I am trying replacing the Bristling Hydra and the extra Whirler Virtuoso on the sideboard for 2 Negates because this deck has had some trouble vs. burn decks, and it doesn't have real sideboard options.

Edit 4:

I am trying exchanging the singleton Grapple with the Past with a Nissa, Vital Force because her -3 is basically what I want from the grapple. Nissa, Vital Force can also be hit by a vessel and helps with delirium if you send her to the grave.

Edit 5:

I am trying going back to putting a Dispel on the side instead of a Negate. I am also removing a Aetherworks Marvel from the side and the other Negate for 2 Tireless Trackers.

Updates

Edit 1:

Success: Bristling Hydra is a true champ, but the deck shows weakness to burn strategies. Counter-magic might be needed, but I still believe the 1 Dispel is not the answer.

Edit 2:

Success: Emrakul, The promiced end made game ones much easier to finish. I also didn't lose any serious tempo early. The combo is less frequent, but I see Whirler Virtuoso as an awesome clutch energy gain to get to Aetherworks Marvel more times than not.

Edit 3:

Success: I haven't played Vs. one of the spell centered decks yet since the changes, but I have played about 5 rounds Vs. various types of decks. The sideboard change did not affect my ability to sideboard that much, so I call the exchange of Bristling Hydra and the extra Whirler Virtuoso on the sideboard for 2 Negates a success.

Edit 4:

Success: Nissa, Vital Force over-performed in this deck. I might have to make this a Temur walkers deck, but that would change what the deck is, and I'm not doing that, but I may add more Nissa, Vital Forces if I can find room.
