This is a creature-less (except for one Burnished Hart ) planeswalker-heavy Teferi deck. The deck wins by locking down the board (eg. with Stasis ), then using certain planeswalkers (eg. Karn Liberated ) to finish your opponent off.

The deck has the following groupings:

• defensive cards - many of these involve returning your opponents' creatures to their hand ( Inexorable Tide ) or preventing them from attacking ( Propaganda )
• stall - most of these prevent cards from untapping (which goes well with Teferi's -1 power)
• • because of the deck's lack of creatures Ward of Bones works particularly well for stalling
• ramp ( Sol Ring )
• planeswalkers
• planeswalker support (eg. Inexorable Tide )
• counterspells
• extra turns: these are great both thematically (Teferi is the Temporal Archmage) and practically (each extra turn lets the planeswalkers re-use their abilities)
• • Part the Waterveil
• • Temporal Mastery
• • Time Warp
• • Walk the Aeons

The basic strategy is to build mana and cast planeswalkers as quickly as possible, while using counterspells, defensive and stall cards to keep yourself and your planeswalkers alive. Once you have a few good planeswalkers you can use plansewalker-support cards like The Chain Veil and extra turn cards to accelerate their growth, and then, after using a few of their final powers, you're pretty much set. The colorless planeswalkers can help to actually win the game if it comes to that ( Ugin, the Spirit Dragon can do damage or Karn Liberated can start a new game with all your opponent's best toys). However, I find that once I have the field locked-down and a couple of planeswalker emblems in play people tend to concede :)

I'd love any suggestions for newer/better cards that fit the above categories.
