Who

Tasigur, the Golden Fang is who, and don't forget it!

Seriously though this guy makes for a pretty rad general and is fully capable of replaying our win conditions for us should we play into removal or control. That on top of his colour combination makes him an asset to the deck, which is more than 50% of generals can really say from a competitive standpoint

What

The deck is a budget friendly combo control deck, instead of playing the racing game, or going the complete stax route, this deck's goal is to play the middle of the pack.

I would note that being a midrange deck is only good if its good in your meta-game, in my meta it is so I guess remember that maybe.. or don't, i'm some guy on the internet not a cop, probably.

When

For a while now I guess. I took apart a Nath of the Gilt-Leaf stax list I had quite enjoyed and a Wydwen, the Biting Gale tempo deck that had preformed ok but sub-par along with a few extra cards to create this deck in about mid-may of 2017, which is the year I type this, since then I've been gradually upgrading the list.

Where

Michigan, in a local play group around Detroit, sort of a casual competitive environment I guess? for instance, theres nobody saying you can't play Zur the Enchanter, and a few people do when they feel like it, but a lot of us don't just to keep it a little more varied I guess, but again no bans or salt about losing to it, I mean many still play Doomsday so whats the difference in general make anyway.

Why

Baisically because I think Tasigur, the Golden Fang is rad, and with Leovold, Emissary of Trest banned a while back I was sort of forced into building this instead, if by some miracle I can play Leovold ever again though you bet I will.

How

Win conditions are Pili-Pala and Grand Architect for infinite mana to sink into Exsanguinate, or even Tasigur, the Golden Fang with Laboratory Maniac on the field.

Speaking of Laboratory Maniac, we run Doomsday, and have Gush, Brainstorm, etc to win with it.
